The formal launch of Compact2025 will take place on November 18th, 2015 in Washington, DC. The program will feature perspectives from Vice President Saulos Chilima of Malawi; Shenggen Fan, Director General of IFPRI; Jeff Hill, Director of Policy at USAID; Gao Min, Olympic Gold Medalist and Compact2025 Ambassador; Gerardine Mukeshimana, Rwandan Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources; and Jai Shroff, CEO of UPL Limited.
Following the launch, the Leadership Council will convene to provide important guidance as Compact2025 begins its activities. Additionally, the Compact2025 Technical Advisory Committee will meet to help identify knowledge gaps, priorities, and opportunities for Compact2025’s work, especially in its four focal countries.
